The reason why the ЮM3 Water pump does not get water may be incorrectly installed by the user. The correct installation and use method is that the suction pipe of ЮM3 Water pump needs to be equipped with a bottom valve at the bottom of the pool. Before starting, the whole pump body and water inlet pipe should be filled with water, and the outlet valve should be closed before starting. After starting the pump, the outlet valve should open slowly. The self-priming performance of each pump varies from model to model, so it is necessary to understand the cavitation allowance of the pump model when selecting the model, so as to understand the effective self-priming height of this pump. The main reasons why ЮM3 Water pump does not get on the water mainly include the following reasons:
1. The speed is too low
1. Human factors. Some users install another motor at will because the original motor is damaged, resulting in small flow, low lift, and even no water supply.
2. Inadequate maintenance of the power machine. The motor loses its magnetism due to winding burnout. Changes in winding turns, wire diameter, wiring mode during maintenance, or factors that have not completely eliminated the fault during maintenance will also change the speed of ЮM3 Water pump.
3. The pump comes with a machine failure. The tightening nut between the impeller and the pump shaft is loose or the pump shaft is deformed and bent, causing the impeller to move more, directly rubbing the pump body, or bearing damage, which may reduce the speed of the pump.
2. There is air in the inlet pipe and pump body of ЮM3 Water pump
1. Due to the long-term potential underwater, the pipe wall has corroded holes. After the multi-stage centrifugal pump works, the water level keeps dropping. When these holes emerge from the water surface, air enters the water inlet pipe from these holes.
2. The packing of the pump is worn out due to long-term use or the packing is too loose, causing a large amount of water to spray out from the gap between the packing and the pump shaft sleeve. Therefore, external air enters the interior of the pump from these gaps, which affects the lifting of water.
3. The horizontal section of the inlet pipe in contact with the ЮM3 Water pump should have a descending slope greater than 0.5% relative to the direction of the water flow. The end connected to the pump inlet has a high strain and cannot be completely horizontal. If it is tilted upwards, air will remain in the water inlet pipe, reducing the vacuum in the water pipe and the pump, and affecting water absorption.
4. ЮM3 Water pump did not pour enough water before starting. Sometimes it seems that the poured water has overflowed from the vent, but the pump shaft does not rotate, so that the air is completely discharged, resulting in a small amount of air remaining in the intake pipe or pump body.
5. There are cracks at the elbow of the inlet pipe, and there is a small gap between the inlet pipe and the pump, which may cause air to enter the inlet pipe.
Third, the resistance loss of water flowing in and out of the water pipe is too large
Some users have measured that although the vertical distance from the reservoir or water tower to the surface of the water source is slightly smaller than the lift of the centrifugal pump, the amount of water being lifted is small or the water cannot be lifted. Among the reasons, the pipe is too long, the water pipe is bent more, and the water flow resistance loss in the pipe is too large. 4. ЮM3 Water pump suction is too large
Some water sources are relatively deep, and some water sources are relatively flat around them, and the allowable water absorption range of the centrifugal pump is negligible, resulting in little or no water absorption. It should be known that the vacuum that can be established at the suction port of the pump is limited. The suction range of a full vacuum is about 10m water column height, and a centrifugal pump cannot build a full vacuum. Moreover, if the vacuum is too large, it is easy to vaporize the water in the pump, which is not conducive to the operation of ЮM3 Water pump. Therefore, each centrifugal pump has its larger allowable suction stroke, which is generally between 3-8.5 meters. The installation must not only be simple and convenient.
